How to do: Scissors Pose

Also known as Eka Pada Koundiyana, Scissors Pose requires wrist, arm, and shoulder strength — along with leverage and balance. It’s an advanced pose, so don’t beat yourself up if you don’t get it at first.

Here’s How:

  1. Start in Table Pose
  2. Bring leg over shoulder
  3. Bend elbows
  4. Shift weight forward
  5. Extend Legs
