Day 3/153

by

“Winners are not people who never fail, but people who never quit.”–Edwin Louis Cole

Today my shoulder is a little sore so I’m not practicing handstand. I’m not too old to work on handstands, but I am old enough to know that I don’t want to aggravate my shoulders.  Several years ago I had rotator cuff surgery and I am determined to never have that surgery again– but I’m also just as determined to nail handstand in the middle of the room. I know that while I need to practice as often as possible (believe me, it’s taking every ounce of my willpower not to run into the bedroom, put my hands on the floor and kick up against the wall), I don’t need to overdo it. So today’s entry is a reminder that I have 153 days to accomplish this and I don’t need to hurt myself doing it. I’m not starting from scratch (I did that five years ago) and I truly believe this is possible. 🙂
